About CIG

The Canadian Institute of Geomatics (CIG) is a non-profit scientific and technical association devoted to advancing the development of geomatics in Canada. Founded in 1882, our association brings together around 800 members in 12 branches across Canada. The Montréal Branch of the CIG has been an active member of the geomatics community for over 50 years.
